The National Center for PTSD is the center of excellence for research and education on the prevention, understanding, and treatment of PTSD. The Center has seven divisions across the country.
The National Center for PTSD does not provide direct clinical care. The Center's purpose is to improve the well-being and understanding of American Veterans.
The Center conducts cutting edge research and apply resultant findings to: "Advance the Science and Promote Understanding of Traumatic Stress."
